ZIP to link
The question everybody has about an archive is "is the thing I need in here?", and every other way of sharing one answers it by making them download the whole file first.
Drop anything. Leave with a link.
Drag a file onto this sheet, paste from your clipboard, or choose one below. 2L picks the right way to show it.
Replacing a link’s contents and turning downloads off are part of Plus. See the plans.
Not just somewhere to put it.
The link is the easy part. What matters is the page on the other end of it.
The contents, foldered
A real file tree, built from the paths inside the archive, with folders that fold shut. Each folder says how many files it holds and how much they weigh.
Named, not just listed
Every entry is described — a .sldprt says SolidWorks model, a .gguf says model weights — from a standards-backed registry covering more than 1,400 extensions.
Read without unpacking
The listing comes from the archive’s own index, which sits at the end of the file, so nothing is decompressed to produce it. A 300 MB build artefact lists instantly.
TAR without unpacking files
A plain .tar is walked through its bounded member headers and shown as a tree. Compressed .tar.gz, RAR and 7-Zip remain intact and get an honest container preview rather than being expanded on the server.
About zip to link
Which archives can be listed?
Can people download one file out of it?
What about an encrypted zip?
Is an .apk allowed?
The same box takes all of it.
There is no format menu anywhere in this product. These pages exist because people search for them, not because 2L works differently for each one.
